ARCHIMEDE

ARCHIMEDE is a lunar mission concept developed during the Space Mission Analysis and Design course at Politecnico di Milano by a team of eleven space engineers.

Its goal is to demonstrate and assess Space-Based Solar Power for the wireless electrical supply of lunar assets. The architecture relies on laser-based energy transmission, advancing the infrastructure that future lunar exploration will depend on.
