A collection born to document the emotions met in places far from the studio. Each piece is intertwined with the box, reflecting the spontaneity and depth of feelings sparked by unfamiliar surroundings: fragments of culture, nature and human experience preserved as visual memories.
Chapter 01
The Atlantic Forest in Brazil is the heart of this triptych, created during a volunteer experience at the biodiversity research institute IPBio. A visual summary of my time in the South Brazilian forest, which revealed faces of Mãe Natureza previously unknown to me. The forest inspires to look at the particular, focusing on the small things to learn that each contains another universe of its own.
Chapter 02
The first artworks in The Travelling Box Series. Each one tells its own story about the flow of consciousness and the rhythms of place: the calm hills around Turin, where tranquillity invites a transcendence beyond the body; and, cradled by gentle waves, the sailboat that opens pathways within us, guiding an inward journey as vast as the sea.
Chapter 03
Australia has a strong energy, able to connect humans with the land, witnessed since the first inhabitants of this country, whose identity is intrinsically entwined with the landscape.
